报告摘要：This paper is concerned witha generalized Arzela-Ascoli’s lemma which has been extensively applied inalmost periodic problems by the continuation theorem of degree theory. We givea counter example to show that this lemma is incorrect, and there is a gap in theproof of some existing literature, where the addressed generalizedArzela-Ascoli’s lemma was used. Moreover, we make some final comments andintroduce an open problem.
报告人简介：刘炳文教授，2005年获得湖南大学应用数学系博士学位，2006 年—2008年完成在复旦大学数学博士后流动站的研究工作。2007年入选浙江省高校优秀青年教师资助计划，2009年11月被评为教授。主要从事时滞微分方程的定性与稳定性理论及其应用研究，主持和参与完成了多项国家和省部级项目的研究工作，先后在《Proceedingsof the American Mathematical Society》，《NonlinearAnalysis》等SCI学术期刊上发表学术论文40余篇，论文“Global exponentialstability for BAM neural networks with time-varying delays in the leakageterms. Nonlinear Anal. Real World Appl. 14 (2013)559–566.”入选2014年中国百篇最具影响的国际学术论文。
